You want a 5-10 foot section of clean paper on the upwind side of your swath and at least 20-30 feet downwind. There’s two purposes to this. Your swath is probably going to move further than you think. Second, extra paper will show drift. If you still have coverage at the end of your paper, how do you know how far it goes?
